Michael Burry has been busy on Twitter, publicly displaying his thoughts on hyperinflation. We talked about this a bit on the episode and also covered his 13F holdings as a “deep value” investor.
SPACs were a big topic this week, as they are the number-one story in the market for the last few months. Have to resist the FOMO with these pre-revenue companies.
The interview with Auri was great, he has a Motley Fool mindset and invests for the long-term. The discussion around Ferrari and Etsy was insightful, and I think he makes a great case for owning both companies.
The hearing last week was absurdly dumb. Really not much to cover there.
Outside of the main topics, we tried to hit all the crazy things happening in the financial/business world this week, but there are just so many ridiculous things going on right now it’s hard to keep track of. Stay safe out there.
